What is your ideal career?

Legal Robot is a startup. That means we all wear a lot of different hats and job descriptions can feel incomplete. We know that your ideal job and career path is best described by you and that everyone has more than one ability.

Maybe you are a lawyer that likes to code, a designer that also loves infosec, or a marketing whiz that works on academic papers for fun. We want you to bring your best skills and interests to Legal Robot.

We always ask new hires to learn, a lot. Whether it is mastering a programming language that we use, reading up on AI ethics, or dusting off those Contract Law notes from law school, we expect everyone at Legal Robot to grow into their job and keep on growing.

Things we do

  • We build software with D3, Meteor, Node, Python, and TensorFlow.
  • We consult with lawyers and work to automate some of their tasks.
  • We run servers and microservices with Docker and Serverless.
  • We design new user experiences and interactions with legal language.
  • We work as a cohesive team to deliver an excellent experience for our customers.
  • We integrate our tools with products from Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, and SAP.
  • We test everything we can in our software and in our algorithms.
  • We dig up legalese from government agencies, in libraries, and across the internet.
  • We talk to our users and work to understand what they need.
  • We advocate for transparency and ethics in AI with our political leaders.
  • We sell our products to people, businesses large and small, institutions, and law firms.
  • We test our security, defend our products, and challenge hackers through HackerOne.
  • We do basic and applied research in AI and we present at academic and industry conferences.
